Construction Manager/Inspector
4LEAF, Inc. is currently looking to hire a Construction Manager/Inspector for heavy civil construction projects in the Sacramento, CA area.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform construction management and inspection duties for the construction of bridges, non-standard major structures, and transportation related buildings. Perform resident engineer duties on large sized construction projects. Ensure projects proceed on schedule and within prescribed budget. Ensure the contractor’s work abides by contract specifications and drawings. Perform independent engineer’s estimates, cost analyses, and confirms information required for monthly payments to contractor. Review and analyze material testing results for compliance. Prepare construction progress reports and review contractor submittals. Perform quality control, structure investigation, and acts as a special inspector for structural steel, concrete work, etc. Prepare inspection reports on the quality of materials and workmanship entering into construction. Prepare daily documentation of time, materials, manpower, and important construction activities and maintain various engineering records. Interface with the contractor, representatives of cities, counties, and state agencies. Utilize judgment and initiative to solve engineering related problems.

Requirements:

California Professional Civil Engineering License
5 years of related experience
Certified Construction Manager or equivalent experience
