Citrus Heights Asphalt Overlay Project
4LEAF was selected to provide on-site construction inspection services and material inspection services for the asphalt overlay project. The project involved 74 ADA ramps and included placing asphalt concrete overlay on various streets including placement of leveling course, minor pavement reconstruction; pavement grinding, reconstructing accessible curb ramps, adjusting manholes and valves boxes to grade, replacing traffic striping, legends and markings, and other works as required.

 
City of West Sacramento, California West Capitol Avenue Streetscape Project
4LEAF provided full service Construction Management and on-site construction inspection services for this dynamic $7 million roadway project, ultimately reducing the existing number of lanes to lay the foundation for the streetcar system. The project included major utility work, including a new water line, sewer line, and reparation of the existing storm drain system. In addition to new features such as on-street parallel parking, dedicated bike lanes and expansion of the landscaped center median, the project also includes upgraded street lights, a new traffic signal at West Capitol and Merkley Avenues, and new bus stops and shelters along West Capitol Avenue. The project also added landscaped pedestrian areas on both sides of the street. Improved pedestrian and bicycle access are among the enhancements the citizens and the community of West Sacramento benefit from. The streetscape project was a highly visible, civil improvement project with work being performed directly in front of City Hall. Still serving as a transit spine for the community, West Capitol Avenue was at one time Historic Highway 40 and the project also included the commemorative installation of a Lincoln Highway Marker.  

 
South Gate Road System Improvements, Mount Diablo State Park
4LEAF provided construction inspection services to the South Gate Road System Improvements project in Mount Diablo State Park. South Gate Road is one of two entrance points for the approximately 20,000-acre park. As part of the long-term Mt. Diablo Road and Trail Plan, improvements to South Gate Road focused on maximizing visitor uses and experiences, reducing potential safety conflicts, minimizing natural and cultural resource impacts, and providing access to surrounding public lands.   Extensive reconstruction and rehabilitation was performed on the roadway over a period of six months, and included asphalt overlay on existing asphalt and repaired sections of roadway that had been reconstructed using compacted road base material.

 
Tower Bridge Gateway Project
4LEAF provided full service Construction Management and on-site construction inspection services for this dynamic $5 million project.  This project reconfigured the eastern end of theTower Bridge Gateway from a former freeway to a boulevard that serves the Bridge District and Washington neighborhoods as well as through traffic.  The existing underpass at Third Street was eliminated, and a new intersection at Fifth Street connects with Riske Lane behind Raley Field.  Two new at-grade intersections were constructed at Fifth Street and Third Street, linking to the adjoining street network and accommodating pedestrian crossings. The improvements integrate Tower Bridge Gateway and the surrounding street network, removing the major obstacle to the development in the City’s Bridge District and the Washington Specific Plan area.  It completes the connection to the newly developed Civic Center area.

 
Desert Inn Deck

4LEAF provided construction management services and a Senior Project Representative for this $3.8 Million Clark County Public Works project in Las Vagas, NV.  The work performed included constructing approximately 110 feet of bridge deck over the Desert Inn Road Superarterial, allowing the realignment of Stardust Drive and the Encore Hotel main driveway to improve traffic flow and signal efficiency.  Elements of work included bridge deck structure, tunnel lighting, tunnel lighting system improvements, dynamic message signs, a video surveillance system, asphalt paving, signing, striping, traffic signals, and other related items. The work also included demolition, removal, and disposal of designated features including barrier rail, signage, light poles, fencing, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and other features in conflict with the work.  In order to minimize traffic and business impacts, work was performed both day and night.

 
I-15 Design Build Project from Blue Diamond to Tropicana Avenue
4LEAF provided Senior Roadway and Electrical Inspectors for staff augmentation on this $245 Million Nevada Department of Transportation design-build project.The I-15 Design-Build project is intended to increase traffic capacity on this very busy stretch of freeway from Tropicana Avenue to just south of Blue Diamond Road (US 160).  The project includes widening the freeway, addition of collector-distributor roads, five re-designed interchanges, 26 new bridge sections including one railroad bridge, 35 retaining walls, and one-and-a-half miles of sound wall.  Additional elements of work included concrete paving, asphalt paving, ITS signage, drainage, video surveillance, high-mast lighting, and landscaping.  Almost all work was performed at night due to the very high traffic volumes on this reach of freeway.

 
Harmon Avenue Relocation
4LEAF provided construction management and inspection services on this $3.1 Million project. Improvements included the installation of a 36-inch water line, 10-inch water line, and individual water services to large hotels and restaurants. The project also contained storm drain facilities, replacement of the traffic signal system at Las Vegas Boulevard, modification of other signals systems and electrical services, asphalt resurfacing, grading, asphalt paving, signing, striping, and other related items of work.
 
The Harmon Avenue Relocation project was constructed in the busiest corridor in Las Vegas and included coordination with the New City Center project which consisted of $250M construction of casinos, bars, shopping, restaurants and clubs on Las Vegas Boulevard. The completion of Harmon Avenue had to meet specific deadlines to allow the opening of the multi-million dollar City Center project. All parties participated in the two jobs worked around the clock to complete work to allow tourists and traveling public access to the New City Center grand opening.

 
I-215 Airport Connector Phase 1 – Interstate 15 to Windmill Lane Widening
4LEAF is currently providing construction management and inspection services on the $34 million Southern I-215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway and the Interstate-215 /Airport Connector Interchange in Las Vegas, NV.
 
This project consists of  freeway and incidental improvements to the Southern I-215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway from approximately Interstate 15 to Windmill Lane including median widening from six (6) to eight (8) lanes from approximately Las Vegas Boulevard  South to Windmill Lane, the addition of an auxiliary lane between the eastbound Warm Springs Road on-ramp and the Windmill Lane off-ramp and widening of fourteen (14) existing bridge structures, new sound walls and earth retaining structures. Work takes place both day and night in order to minimize traffic disruption.
