City of Cotati Train Depot Project

,

4LEAF provided construction management and inspection services for the $1.7 million construction of an approximately 1,500 sq-ft- transit center depot building and a landscaped pedestrian plaza.  This grant-funded project was a partnership between the City of Cotati, Sonoma County Transit (SCT) and Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) to create the new transit center serving Cotati, Rohnert Park and Sonoma State University.

The scope included demolishing existing site features and constructing a new train depot building located on 970 East Cotati Avenue in the vicinity of Santero Way. Work included excavation and recompaction of existing surface material and landscaping, utility work, drainage work, new PCC pavement, AC pavement, curb sidewalk, street furniture, landscaping, irrigation, striping, lighting, and signage.

The project provides a new link for bus, rail, pedestrian, and bicycle modes of transportation along with retail services. Project amenities include bike parking and storage, kiosks, landscaping, lighting, and utilities.
