4LEAF was entrusted to provide full-scale, comprehensive Inspector of Record (IOR) services for the entirety of Apple’s iconic, $5-billion Apple Park corporate headquarters, alongside dedicated building and fire plan review services for the campus’s massive North and South parking structures. Our team managed continuous, multi-discipline field oversight for the monumental 2.82-million-square-foot main ring building, verifying strict code compliance for what stands as the largest single base-isolated structure in the world. In the field and through rigorous plan examination, 4LEAF navigated the immense architectural complexity of the neo-futuristic campus, which features a mile-long circumference of custom-engineered curved glass panels and structural capacity for over 12,000 employees. Additionally, our precise plan checks for the dual 1.8-million-square-foot precast concrete parking facilities ensured the structural integrity of structures that stretch the length of five football fields and support expansive rooftop solar arrays. Through this seamless integration of technical review and daily field management, 4LEAF successfully guided one of the most high-profile construction footprints in modern history from initial permitting to safe, final occupancy.
