Town of Paradise – Fire Recovery Program

4LEAF provided the Town of Paradise with a full-service Fire Recovery Program after the most destructive wildfire in California history. The Town of Paradise is Butte County’s second largest incorporated jurisdiction with more than 26,000 residents. The loss of housing displaced over 10% of the County’s population and most of the Town’s population. After burning for over three weeks, the fire destroyed 12,000 residential units, 400 commercial structures, and 3,000 accessory structures. 4LEAF was the single firm that provided complete Community Development Services to the Town of Paradise. The contract was put into place for 4LEAF to provide Permitting, Plan Review, Building Inspections, Public Works Inspections, Planning, Code Enforcement, Debris Removal Management, and Public Outreach for the $9.5 Billion rebuild set to take place over the next 10 years. 4LEAF assisted the Town with a post-disaster recovery-centered office that offers Permit Intake and Processing, Record Support, Plan Review, and Inspection Services for the peak of the rebuild.
